Well, hello! Apparently it's been a few weeks since I published something on here! This has partly been writers' block, but mainly due to the Easter holidays.
So how is everyone? I am well, I think! The school holidays for once haven't been too traumatic and stressful! This may be partly due to the fact that we were on holiday last week, so although we had the same daily stresses, it was in a different location!
We had a brilliant holiday in Suffolk and yes, there were times I felt people glaring at me as I tried to reason with my stubborn number two son, or tried to calm my number one son when he was screaming for Daddy who had dared to move away for a second, or nearly lost the will to live after repeatedly telling my daughter to stop doing something or other! And don't even get me started on bedtimes! Still a nightmare beyond belief on holiday or otherwise. However, for the most part it was really enjoyable. Apart from the family fun I finally met up with a friend for the first time in 3 years. We got to know each other through some sad circumstances and her and a group of other lovely ladies have been a wonderful support over the past 3 years so it was great to get together.
So now we are at the start of another new term. What does the next few months have in store for me? 2 weddings, 2 birthdays, (husband's and my boys turn 2!), a hen do, another cake sale, a visit to a relative of my husband's that I have not met, an open afternoon at playschool for my boys, and no doubt much more in between. So there is loads to look forward to!
I'd also really like to get back into regular blogging so hope for lots of inspiration soon!
